The consilience lab, aka Bachelor of Media and Communication (Honours) is committed to having its work public. That means a lot of what we do, particularly in our use of online resources, is outward facing and not behind the edufirewall. We do this because a) we use public funds, b) we are committed to public education, c) we believe our students are knowledge creators not consumers, d), we want to them be knowledge creators, not consumers, e) having work that is public allows an institutional, personal, and academic memory to be maintained.
